This is my first semester having English at the University and it’s been so good because I haven’t had English as a subject since, I graduated from the school on 2015, so it’s has been very nice to practice it again. Also I have learned new words like “major”, “public management” and some others, Doings blogs has helped me to practice writing and to think in English. Also, I have learned about the interests of my partners and it has been good to know their opinions about some very interesting topics, like drugs legalization and abortion. I think that I need to keep improving my English, because I still get so nervous when I’m speaking. Also sometimes I forget about the verbal tenses, so that’s something that I have to practice. Although that, I think that my English is good and I can understand almost everything when someone is talking to me and when I am reading books or watching TV series or anything in English. I’m not so sure about what changes I would make to the curriculum map. Maybe I’d remove one or two of the subjects related to the investigation, because we have a new subject related to it every semester until now and I think that I don’t learn new things on them. They are too reiterative! Also, right now we only get exempted of the finals exams if we have more than a 6.0 in our final grade of the semester in each subject, but I think that is a very high grade! It must be a 5.5! And talking about the faculty facilities, there are a lot of things that I think this University needs to change on its infrastructure. For example, there are some computers that doesn’t work well, they are too slow. Also, we need to have more printers, it’s unbelievable that we only have one for the whole university! What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana and other drugs? I support the legalization of marijuana because It can help to reduce the drug trafficking. But if it gets legalized it must be only for adults, and it must be sell on special places. I think that the way that Uruguay legalized the marijuana is a good example to follow. Marijuana is the only drug that I’d legalize, because I believe that other drugs are dangerous and noxious. What is your opinion about the Chilean tradition called “mechoneo”? I think that the “mechoneo” must be stopped in all the Universities. It is a stupid “tradition” and I think that it can be very humiliating and dangerous.
