Postgraduate studies

Imagen
I think that nowadays is really necessary and important to have postgraduate studies, because you may have a better job and a better salary if you do it, and it’s an opportunity to become a better professional, with more knowledge. I think that finishing the major of Public Management, I’d like to study the Master in Government and Public Management at the University of Chile.  Then, I’d like to study another Master, but this time related to International Affairs, because I want to work on the Ministry of International Affairs. I would like to study it on Spain, specifically at the "Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona", because it is one of the best Universities in the world and I would like to live in Barcelona for some time because I really love that city and there are a lot of things that I would like to do there! For that reason, I would like to study it as a part-time course, so during my free time I can travel to other countries in Europe and visit some football...

My future job

I’m not sure yet about what kind of job I want to have. I think that as a Public Manager there are a lot of options! But I’d like to work on a Ministry and my first option is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, because I love the International relations and politics and I’d like to travel to other countries too, so that would be for sure my dream job! But If it’s not possible to work there, I also have other interests too. I like sports a lot (specially football) so it would be nice too to work at the Ministry of Sport, because I think that this country needs to have a healthier life and I’d like to help on it. And the other option, would be the Ministry of Women and Gender Equity, because is really important for me to fight for women rights. Actually, the salary doesn’t matter if I’m working in something that I love, but if its possible to work in a place that I like and earn a lot of money I’d be really happy, of course! I don’t know yet what major I want to study, but if ...

Studying Public Management

I wanted to study Public Management since I was 16 years old, but my parents and friends did not like the idea so much. They said that I had to study law because I was so good at arguing and I’d get a better job and a better salary. So, because I was so young and immature I entered to the law school of the Universidad de Chile, but later I realized that I didn’t like it and I only studied one year. Then, I decided to study what I really wanted to study: Public Management. I liked it because the curriculum map looked nice. Actually, I didn’t know so much about this major, but I liked the idea about the places where we could work. This University was my only option. I wanted to study on a traditional University, and the only other university that had this major was USACH but I didn’t like their curriculum map because they had a lot of mathematics on it. Actually, I don’t know yet if I like this major or not. Sometimes I think that I like it, but other times I think that is r...

Animals

There are a lot of animals that I like lot, but my favorite ones are dogs. I have had a few of them during my life, and for sure they are “man’s best friend”, because they are so loyal and they will love you no matter what.  I really think that humans don’t deserve dogs,  they are so good for us. I have three dogs and they make me happy every day of my life. The oldest one is called Tommy (but actually he is young), he is four years old. When I was 16 I really wanted to have a dog, and my parents gave me my best friend as a birthday gift. He is one of the best things of my life! I have another dog. She is called Rumba and is two years old! She is so cute and loves to play all day! Here is a photo of us together, it was taken last weekend: And the last one (but not less important!) is their son, called Denver. He is only 7 months old, and of course he is so playful and loves to eat all day.  He was the fattest of all the puppies!  He...
